Pumpkinpalooza  is a yearly festival that raises proceeds for the Millican Reserve Land Conservancy, a 501(c)3 non-profit serving the Brazos Valley.Â
Come celebrate the season with us at Millican Reserve! You'll find something for everyone during Pumpkinpalooza Weekend, from pumpkin-chunkin' out of giant trebuchets to endless outdoor activities and delicious food, and even a live music festival. Bring your friends and join us on October 15 and 16.

The Pumpkinpalooza Trail Run kicks off at 7:30 am on Saturday 10/15. This race is brought to you by our partners at First Light Racing.Â

Choose between a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, or 5k. The whole family can join in the trail run fun with our 0.5k fun run (open all day). Races are staggered and will begin with the Marathon/ Half Marathon at 7:30 am on Saturday. Everyone will receive a branded cup and custom finisher medals.
Proceeds from the trail run support the Conservancy.
The outdoor festival will take place Saturday AND Sunday from 10 am until 2 pm. Wristbands are good for both days.

TEAMS WILL CONSIST OF FOUR PARTICIPATING MEMBERS AND WILL ELECT ONE OR TWO MEMBERS (DEPENDING ON THE ACTIVITY) TO COMPETE IN EACH STAGE OF THE PUMPKIN CUP. EACH TEAM WILL BE GIVEN A PUMPKIN TO KEEP WITH THEM THROUGHOUT THE COMPETITION. The pumpkin GAMES will take place on saturday and sunday from 12 pm to 1 pm.
Winners will receive medals to take home and have their team name forever etched onto the much-revered Pumpkin Cup Trophy as a lifetime mark of achievement.

Join us at 6 pm on Saturday for an evening of live music, drinks, and dinner under the stars! Festival tickets include admission to Pumpkinpalooza.
Brice and the Lonesome Strings will headline the evening with accompanying performances from Morgan Ashley and Ethan Hanson. General admission tickets include entry along with a cash bar and delicious food trucks. VIP tickets will include dinner, drink tickets, prime seating, a meet and greet with the musicians and more!

Just a rockin' little 4 piece country band! We're excited to welcome Brice and the Lonesome Strings back to the Millican Music Festival this year.
Â
Brice and the Lonesome Strings are Texas country and Nashville, with hints of jazz and rock, all the while sticking with their own country sound. They recently released their EP "Love me or Leave me".

Hailing from College Station, Morgan Ashley grew up raising cattle and barrel racing. She decided at age 17 to finally pick up the guitar and hasn't put it down since!Â
Morgan has had five successfully charted songs to Texas Radio at Top 40 or higher and her all time Spotify streams are over 75,000. She also just won the 2021 New Female Vocalist Award with the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards!

Ethan Hanson was born and raised in New Braunfels, Texas, and plays shows all over the state.
In 2018, he was named runner-up at the Old -Settler's Music Festival youth competition and in September of 2020, won a 6 week competition in College Station and has played with or opened for acts such as Josh Grider, John Baumann, Rich O'Toole, and Aaron Watson.

The Conservancy protects, maintains, and promotes the heritage and ecologically-sound, long-term use of conserved land at Millican Reserve.
One of our most well-loved programs is Camp Millican, a summer day camp at Millican Reserve. Camp Millican is for kids ages 4-14 and provides a fun, enriching week aimed at strengthening a child’s sense of well-being and cultivating a bond with nature.

Pumpkinpalooza Weekend is an annual fall festival featuring music, local foods, entertainment, and much more. The weekend's events benefit the Conservancy (formerly known as the Millican Alliance).

Pumpkinpalooza Weekend will kick off on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 7 AM with the annual Pumpkinpalooza Trail Run. Then, Saturday's Pumpkinpalooza festival will run from 10 AM until 2 PM. At 6 PM Saturday, the Millican Music Festival will begin!

The celebration will resume from 10 AM until 2 PM on Sunday, October 16! Â

For the Pumpkinpalooza daytime event (10 am - 2 pm) on BOTH Saturday AND Sunday (October 15th AND 16th), there is a general admission wristband (online purchase) for adults and a general admission wristband for kids (ages 2-16). The wristbands are good for both days and may be purchased online. Depending on availability, wristbands may be available for purchase at the event for a higher price. Please purchase your wristbands online in advance to avoid lines at Pumpkinpalooza.

For the Millican Music Festival (6 pm October 15th) there are two ticket options: $30 for General Admission and $100 for VIP (online purchase). General admission tickets include field seating at the concert (bring your own lawn chairs and blankets), entry to Pumpkinpalooza festival during the day, and access to a cash bar as well as food trucks. VIP tickets include a catered meal with table service, two drink tickets, covered seating, entry to Pumpkinpalooza festival during the day, and an excellent view of the concert (no need to bring lawn chairs). A Pumpkinpalooza Wristband will also provide children (ages 2-16) with access to the Millican Music Festival (with a paid adult). All Millican Music Festival tickets include general admission access to Pumpkinpalooza on both days. The pumpkin patch and trebuchets will be open for the for the first hour of the music festival.
